Simplified installation of each speaker is facilitated by a spring-loaded, three-point swivel mounting system, optimized to minimize interference with obstructions within the ceiling space.The Aspire IC8-WT model provides a pair of two-way in-ceiling speakers with 8-inch (203 mm) glass-polyester composite woofers for rich, impactful bass and 1-inch (25 mm) advanced synthetic polymer dome tweeters for crisp, soaring highs. The offset post-mounting of the tweeters reduces midrange frequency response anomalies normally caused by interference between the woofer and the back of the tweeter. Precisely tuned 4th-order crossovers ensure a full, warm, and detailed response across the entire spectrum. Power handling is an impressive 150 watts, with a wide frequency response of 48 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB).
